Common boat repairs we carry out in our Illawarra workshop

About Tim
Hailing from Armidale, Tim developed a profound connection with the water through his father’s influence, leading to a lifelong passion for sailing and boat building. After honing his skills alongside his father, he embarked on a professional journey in Sydney, contributing to the creation of various catamaran models, including the pioneering SW1000. Tim’s expertise expanded into resin infusion techniques, revolutionising boat construction for Seawind Catamarans. Following ventures into entrepreneurship and roles in caravan and marine repair, Tim established Fifth Element Marine, culminating in the opening of his own premises in Port Kembla. His diverse experiences reflect a deep-rooted commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and the allure of the ocean.
